Pros : Self Scheduling, ratio in sicu is acceptable when staffing adequate
Cons : meditech electronic charting system horribly time consuming taking away from hands on care to pt, high turnover of nurses using sicu as stepping stone to CRNA or NP school, lack of experienced new hires, PCTs that lack work ethic , working with vascular team surgeons due to their lack of communication skills with nursing staff,
